Is it true that some sleeping pads are designed to actually fit into the mummy bag? I believe that i saw one before.... and if its true i want one
Some have a sleeve on the outside as well. My -20F bag from EMS has an outside sleeve intended to hold the pad. I think it's useless.
Personally, I think the design sucks for people who do not sleep on their back. If you roll inside the bag, then your face is inside the hood and the moisture from your breath is trapped inside. A mummy bag should roll with you so your face is always out of the bag. It's kinda pointless to put a sleeping pad inside the sleeping bag if it isn't under you.
