Help On Vans Warped Tour 2009?!?!?
okay so this is my first time going to the Vans Warped Tour.
my date is july 14 at the merriwheater post pavillion in Columbia Maryland.
I have a few questions:
What should I wear?
I want to get their at like 7:45 am (yes crazy early, but I wanna be first to get it.) is that bad?
How do you find out what bands are playing?
the bands I want to see most are:
THE MAINE (deff. #1 reason im going)
Breathe Carolina
Brokencyde
3OH!3
Sing it loud
There for tomorrow
any chances that those will be playing at the same time?
if so, that would suck.
and also, How do I meet those bands?
I really want to meet them, so do I just go to their Tent before or after their set?
and when is the best time to buy merch.

most i have to say is have fun,im going to the show on july 16 in buffalo im going to tell you how it is:
tickets are around like 25.50 and all the taxes so it should come to like 30 something its not that bad but anyways.
ok make sure you get a good nights sleep the night before because your going to need all your energy.wake up at least 2 hours early so im saying around like 9am maybe even 8 take your time with hair and getting dressed,make sure you leave your house early as well due to traffic jams ,its cool to have a friend with you to talk with, so im hoping that you have that,ummm bring a small drawstring bag that goes on your back, it will keep you from carrying way to much that, thats where i went wrong the first time that i went, i had way to much stuff and it ways you down the whole day,i also had my mom drop me and my friend off and stuff because parking like i said kinda hard but not 2 bad.umm as for stuff to wear the day of the show,cool clothes,like tank tops and shorts maybe carpies,jeans in the summer is a no because its way to hott,but if you wanna rock them then go for it. wear sneakers,flats start to hurt after awhile and flip-flops are not cool they just fall off and if you are planning to go in any mosh pits they fall off 2,so wearing sneakers is the best way to go:) umm warped tour is packed with alot of kids but after awhile you wont notice it,i really enjoyed myself the past few times that i went, i got to meet really cool people in the area that had the same likes as me, i got to meet my favorite bands as well as take pictures and stuff,yes there is a line you have to get in there and wait,if you scope the place out first you will see at the merch tables that the bands will have meet and greets at times write down the times if its a popular band you will be waiting there for awhile so get there at least 45mins to 1 hour before they start signing,some people wait there for more then that but its up to you as for what to bring, money is a must, i would say at least 100 to get you by the whole day because there is going to be alot of stuff that your eyes are going to fall in love with and that you are going to wanna get and if you don't have enough money then thats going to suck, merch is cheap at warped tour shirts run at 15 or 20 or just bring the amount of money that you would like,don't bring things that are going to get lost easy like ipod and what ever more you have that you would not wanna lose,cell phone just in case you get lost with the person that you came with and to set up your ride if you need one, ummm bring some water because its really hott, as for the whole cap thing it much be sealed or they wont let you bring it in, drink alot of water so you wont pass out that would not be cool drinks at warped tour can get expensive at times, sunglasses for the sun, sunscreen so that you wont come back home with sunburn,as for the pits there are a few depending on the bands some more hardcore then others,if you wanna get to the very front make sure you get to the stage early like if you ahev to stay for a whole nother bands set do it its worth the wait,you just walk up to the front and get ready for one amazing show,umm yea i think thats it, well thats all that i can think of i hope you have fun this year because i know that i will
